Hey there, my name is Guy Cecil, I’m one of the many charming characters in the fun and silly Tales Series of games by Namco. Join me and my friends as we travel the world, making new friends and fighting evil villains.
Character development took care of that. But goddamn I was annoying. Cress wasn’t even close to being as annoying as I was the first three gameplay hours.
I die the first fifteen minutes into the game I appear in. And when i finally return my friends are level 50 and I am level worthless and lacking techs. Unless you own the GBA or PS1 ports, and who the fuck has those? Fuck you guys.
There is nothing fun or silly about our game, my dad murdered all the women in your family, and after passing out from the trauma you woke up under their bodies dude. Also, I killed like a thousand people, after realizing that I am an incomplete clone.

The PSX remake of Tales Of Phantasia was released almost immediately after the unmitigated disaster that was Tales Of Destiny as a way to kind of remind Tales fans in Japan that they needed to remain loyal. No, real shit, Tales of Destiny sucked.
